Use this index to call up past descriptions from our Coffee of the Month program. All of the coffee of the month descriptions were written by the Coffee Works' Coffee Scout to entertain our customers and to help them appreciate the unique history and character of our featured coffee origins and terms. One caveat: Coffee is marketed under thousands of names. Quality and methods of production change over time. Unfortunately, the Coffee Scout believes once a named region or estate gains recognition it tends to become more scarce and sometimes the quality is diluted. Thus the descriptions below should be understood to be written in the past and may bear scant resemblence to coffees currently being marketed under these names. When appreciating speciality coffees it is always best to consult your local independent roaster. |
